This beautifully designed Basic House is for the cat who appreciates a safe cozy room or enjoying sunny days snoozing on the large lounge deck. The sturdy all wood Basic House offers your cat or small dog a sense of security with it's 2 large windows allowing for visibility and safety while satisfying its natural curiosity. Large enough for two cats to enjoy together, or one cat who prefers solitude.

The Basic House is designed to provide a solid, cost effective outside house for cats. The two Plexiglas Windows are a very important part of our unique design. The cat feels more secure because it can see what's going on around its domain. They allow light and warming sun in and for you to see your cat safe and secure. Would you live in a windowless house? Appropriate sized door, 5 1/2" W x 7 1/2" H allows cats to come and go but keeps the larger animals out. The inside is roomy enough for cats to move around, but small enough to let their body heat warm the space. Two cats can fit if needed. Most cat beds will fit inside the Basic Cat House.

Premium grade house siding material is used for all major panels. There completely framed with wood supports, nailed and glued for strength and durability. The inside walls are covered with a smooth, sealed, easy to clean finish. The Bunk House features a large roof lounging deck for your cat to nap on sunny days. The roof is held in place with bungee cords looped under the side window awnings and is easily removed for inside access. Your cat will enjoy a cozy and secure outside house when the wind and weather start blowing. A double folded fleece blanket is included.

Add On Options:

Insulation: Turn your Basic into an Insulated Cat House by adding the best insulation on the market. 3/4" Poly ISO Styrofoam with Mylar foil lining which reflects the cats body heat back into the house. The insulation is covered with mahogany plywood. Insulation covers the floor, back and front wall and the roof. The floor insulation and covering panel can be removed for easy cleaning while all other panels are fixed with glue and brads.

Door Flap Cover: We do not recommend a door flap as it prevents air flow allowing moisture build up and mold to grow inside the house.

Breezway: The breezeway maintains the all important air flow for reducing interior moisture while protecting the doorway from blowing weather. It keeps the weather out, allows the cat in and maintains all important air flow to the interior of the house. It's open on each end so the cat can enter from ether side and features a Plexiglas window in the front for the watchful eye. It easily positions against the house but can be pushed out of the way if needed. It ships inside the house and adds 8 lbs to the package. Can be ordered separately at a later time if desired.

Back Door: The back door adds a second entrance to the outdoor cat house for more versatility. Allowing the cat an escape route, an entrance for a second cat, an opening out of the weather or additional ventilation or window are all possible needs for this option. On the Basic the back door is exactly like the front door making the house very ambidextrous. A Plexiglas door cover is included to screw to the door opening if needed in the future. The door measures - 5 1/2" wide, by 7 1/2" high.

Second Story: If you have more then one cat or want more space turn your Basic Cat House into a Duplex or Triplex. The second story easily stacks on top of the Basic Cat House and features a hole in the floor for easy inside movement. A fleece blanket is provided. It can be ordered with insulation and with a back door. The Breezway is not available for the second story doorway.

House Platform: Built to fit the House and Breezeway. Assembly Required (No tools needed) Hand tighten Wing Nuts to secure legs to Platform. Raises 16" high with platform measuring 22" x 27". Constructed from Western Red Cedar. Each leg is held in place with two bolts for strength and stability.
